referral echocardiograms
We are now accepting referrals for echocardiograms with our board-certified cardiologist.
To schedule, please complete the patient referral form below and attach relevant records. Our team will contact the client to schedule the appointment and collect a $150 deposit, which will be applied to the final invoice.
The visit will be managed by a DVM on our Urgent Care Service. The pet will receive an exam, results will be reviewed with the owner, and medications may be prescribed if needed. Follow-up with the primary care veterinarian is always recommended.
Fees:
- Urgent Care exam: $138
- Echocardiogram: $643
Any additional recommendations will be provided to the client as an estimate.
Once finalized, all medical records will be available through the portal.

We are now accepting referrals for ultrasound with our board-certified radiologist.
To schedule, please complete the patient referral form below and attach relevant records. Our team will contact the client to schedule the appointment and collect a $150 deposit, which will be applied to the final invoice.
The visit will be managed by a DVM on our Urgent Care Service. The pet will receive an exam, results will be reviewed with the owner, and medications may be prescribed if needed. Follow-up with the primary care veterinarian is always recommended.

Our surgical department at Folsom Ranch Veterinary Hospital and Urgent Care offers a wide range of advanced surgical procedures with board-certified surgeons. We work closely with experienced surgeons who perform specialty surgeries including urgent fracture repairs, TPLO, MPL, FHO, anal sacculectomy, perineal urethrostomy and much more.

Urgent Referral Surgery
At Folsom Ranch Veterinary Hospital and Urgent Care, we provide quality, timely, life-saving surgery to those who may not be able receive care elsewhere due to caseload or cost. Our team is capable of performing a variety of urgent surgical procedures including: gastrotomy, enterotomy, splenectomy, pyometra, enucleation, cystotomy and more. We coordinate with ER facilities if overnight care is warranted and recommend follow up with their primary DVM.

Urgent Dentistry
We are dedicated to providing your patients with rapid access to care, offering treatment for severe periodontal disease, fractured teeth, tooth root abscess, oronasal fistula repairs, and any other dental needs within 7 days of referral. We are often able to accommodate same day or next day periodontal treatments.
Our team acts as an extension of your practice, ensuring that urgent oral health issues are addressed promptly and professionally. To facilitate a seamless transition, please fill out our referral form and if urgent care is needed, call ahead to speak with our team before sending your client over. Once the procedure is complete, all patients are returned to your care for their ongoing health and follow-up needs.

ENDOSCOPY
We offer endoscopic retrieval for gastric foreign bodies as a minimally invasive alternative to surgery. This procedure allows for faster recovery, reduced discomfort, and avoids the risks associated with open abdominal surgery when appropriate.
The cost for endoscopic foreign body removal is approximately $2,500 including anesthesia.
If endoscopic retrieval is unsuccessful and a gastrotomy is required, clients will not be charged for both procedures—only the surgical procedure will apply.
