Yesterday we had to put down our sweet Walter boy. Every step of the way Folsom Ranch Vet made it as best a situation as they could have. The phone call was hard enough to make but the lady who spoke with me walking through the steps was very sweet and said everything in the right way. We were able to be seen right away. Upon entry, we were in the waiting room for less than 2 minutes. A beautiful facility and very clean. Dr. Liang is a top notch doctor and human being. The way that he described the process to us was done so well. You can tell that he truly cares about your feelings and your baby. Then Tara comes in with the billing process. She made us very comfortable and had me laughing even during a sad time. Some of the key things that made this process that much easier: the sadness that comes with bringing his carrier there with him and the thought of coming home with an empty carrier, well they brought back his carrier all folded up which I appreciated SO much. Next the blanket that they brought him all wrapped up in was so thick that I wouldn’t feel his last heartbeat or his body going limp which at a previous vet euthanasia left me heartbroken even more. Dr Liang, the facility, the process, the little things, helped make this all just a little easier on us. Thank you so much ❤️
